Founded in the early 2000s The name comes from the movie quote “What am I a Clown? am I here to amuse u?” (Goodfellas) Blurted out in one of our regular Friday night herfs, to which the response was “That’s it we can call ourselves “Cigar Clown’.

Cigar Clowns roots derive from a group of childhood friends who love cigars and the art of cigar smoking. Born an raised in Brooklyn NY. With being so close to Coney Island we drew inspiration from the iconic “Tilly” Clown along with the ever on going cracking jokes as we call it here in NYC “Breaking Balls”.

Fast forward to 2018 we released our first Cigar for our friends and family and began our Facebook Group.

In 2020 our group expanded to six. In the middle of the pandemic raging across the country and with everything shut down we continued to smoke and herf virtually. It was decided between us we wanted to venture in to making a cigar again along with doing something positive and keeping us distracted from the everyday events of the world with something we all shared in common “The Love Of The Leaf”.

We started small, we worked to build our reputation. We told people to trust our pallet, believe in what we are doing. We have crashed websites, sold out in minutes, took out credit card machines. Worked tirelessly for brand recognition.

We continue to work for you “The People” who make our industry what it is.
